Brian McEniff celebrated his 81st birthday on Friday night at the Mount Errrigal Hotel in Letterkenny, where he was joined by a host of former Donegal players.
McEniff guided Donegal to Ulster SFC titles in 1972, 1974, 1982, 1990 and 1992, when the team also took Sam to the Hills for the first time, following their 0-18 to 0-14 win over Dublin at Croke Park.
Tony Boyle and Joyce McMullin were full-forward and left-half forward on that team and their made a presentation to McEniff on behalf of those in attendance, who enjoyed their evening together sharing stories of their heady days.
