Post-mortem to guide Garda probe after body found in Ramelton

Gardai say they are ‘investigating all the circumstances’ after the body of a man in his mid-20s was found in Ramelton on Thursday

Gardai have launched a probe after the body of a man was found in Ramelton on Thursday.

The body of the man, who is understood to be aged in his mid-20s, was found in the Swilly Park area of the town.

The office of the Donegal Coroner, Dr Denis McCauley, has been notified.

Gardai say that a post-mortem will take place ‘at a later date’. The outcome of the post-mortem will determine the course of the Garda investigation.

A Garda spokesperson said that they are ‘investigating all the circumstances’ surrounding the death.
