McGregor taps out to Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Senator Eileen Flynn has countered Conor McGregor's disgusting personal attack on her with an impressive takedown of her own.
The former UFC double champion - who hasn’t won a fight since January 2020 - is currently working his way back from a leg break.
But he took to X on Friday afternoon to vent his anger at Senator Flynn after she explained, in no uncertain terms, that she would not back the Dubliner for a presidential bid
In a tweeted audio message, the pint-sized Dublin fighter said: “Senator Eileen Flynn has said she wouldn’t nominate me to wash the dishes, how disrespectful.
“Senator I nominate you to brush your teeth and see the dentist because if ever there was a cause to bring back masks I would call for it.
“You weren’t even voted in. You were nominated as a token so I’d appreciate less of the disrespect. And you know, mask up, god bless ya.
“We’ve got gingivitis inside the Oireachtas, inside Dail Eireann. We have a rabid case of gingivitis and s***e talk and zero action.”
However, speaking to the Irish Sun on Saturday Ms Flynn, who lives in Ardara with her husband and young family, responded with some verbal uppercuts of her own.
He’s quick to judge and comment on people’s appearance. All the money in the world wouldn’t fix Conor McGregor. Nobody likes him anymore. He’s just a mean, horrible, nasty man.
“He can say what he wants about me. He doesn’t know me. He’s from only a stone’s throw away from me and he started out a very genuine person.
"I genuinely believed that he was going to be a role model for young working-class men and for young Traveller men and people on the margins of society, but he let down all those young fellas and most importantly he let down himself.”
She added: “He can comment what he wants about my teeth and my appearance. I get on well with people and I don’t have to go anywhere to get myself fixed because I like myself the way I am.”
