Volunteers with The Exchange Inishowen are putting in a fantastic shift to make sure that everyone gets a feeling of Christmas.
The Buncrana-based registered charity are making up Christmas dinners to deliver to elderly people in the locality, or those living alone, as well as welcoming visitors to The Exchange at Castle Avenue.
“Wow what an amazing two days (so far),” then posted on Facebook on Christmas Eve. “Thank you so much to our amazing volunteers and all those who have donated to make the Community Christmas Dinner happen.
“Today we sent out 70 dinners across Inishowen to elderly people or those living alone. Tomorrow we will host 40+ people for a lovely dinner in The Exchange and deliver hot meals to another 25+ people in the Buncrana area. Happy Christmas from The Exchange Inishowen.”
