New development works have been given the go-ahead at Letterkenny Community Centre.
The facility on Pearse Road is to get new changing rooms as part of its latest redevelopment.
Donegal County Council has granted Letterkenny Community Centre Ltd planning permission for the upgrade works.
The company sought permission for the construction of new changing room facilities as well as a new community and committee room.
The plans also include provision for connection to the existing services and all associated site works.
In December, Donegal County Council granted permission for the works to proceed, subject to 17 conditions.
These include that they furnish a legally being agreement between the McGinley’s multi-storey car park and the developer confirming the provision of free parking for patrons attending the weekend car boot sale.
Other conditions relate to orderly development, traffic safety and the prevention of flooding.
Construction will be limited to between 8am-6pm from Monday-Friday, 8.30am-3pm on Saturdays and not at all on Sundays or Bank Holidays.
