Stay wire stolen from Donegal Town yard

Gardaí are investigating a burglary that happened at a yard in Spierstown, Donegal Town. The locks on the gate were broken and entry was gained. Approximately 14 rolls of stay wire (galvanised steel wire) were stolen from the yard. The incident happened on Thursday, January 4 between 10.30pm and 11.05pm.

“We appeal to anybody who may have travelled in that area between 10pm and 11.30pm on that date and who had a dash cam to make the footage available to gardaí,”  Sergeant Eunan Walsh said. 

“If anybody can assist with relevant information we ask them to contact Ballyshannon Garda Station on 071-9858530.”
