The Bundoran Community Centre is moving temporarily to the old Town Council offices

Bundoran Community Centre said this evening that they have officially been given a date to move temporarily to the old Bundoran Town Council offices while new building development work is to start in their own centre.

The new works are said to include the installation of a lift and the creation of additional space in what once housed the old AIB Bank. The centre currently consists of the basement Rougey Suite, ground floor and two upstair levels.

The popular local museum, hosted by the Bundoran Community Centre, will also be closed for the duration of the works.

Starting from Monday they "will be based in the Bundoran Council Offices which are located beside the Bundoran Library. We will be based here for the next few months.  The Eircode is F94NRF9 which is the same Eircode as the library, however entry to our new location is at the main door to the right of the statue as per the photo above.

We will be in a period of transition for a week or so, so please bear with us as we transfer everything across and we appreciate your support as we do this," they said this evening.

If you have any questions they can be contacted on 083-4318743 or by emailing bundorancommunitycentre@gmail.com
