The Butt Drama Circle are bringing Murder in the Play to the Balor and the audience is being asked to figure out who the culprit is. This stage production is unique as it showcases as a play within a play.
Rehearsals have started and this play directed by Kathleen Mc Gowan promises to be a matter of both intrigue and fun.
The play gets off to a bad start with a missing prop, a latecomer, a clumsy actor, a bickering husband and wife, a bullied props mistress, a frustrated and bad tempered director.
The play takes a turn for the worst when one of the actors ends up dead - the question that needs to be answered is who carried out the deadly act?
Those who fancy themselves as an amateur sleuth or are looking for a night at the theatre with a difference, this is the show for you.
Showing Saturday next, January 27. Tickets on sale now for only €10. Booking now at 074 91 31840.
The drama will also take place at the local Ballybofey and Stranorlar Golf Club on Friday, January 26.
