Muireann performing When The Levee Breaks on The Late Late Show
Upcoming singer-songwriter Muireann Bradley has announced her first headline gig in Donegal.
The 17-year-old blues star has announced that her first headline gig will take place in her hometown, where she is set to perform solo at The Balor Arts Centre in Ballybofey on Saturday, June 22.
The Ballybofey native has announced that she is set to perform 16 live shows across Ireland, the UK and the Netherlands in 2024. On the tour, Muireann will perform her debut album titled ‘I Kept These Old Blues.’
Muireann has previously performed in The Balor Arts Centre as a supporting act during The Ghostlight Sessions in November 2023 which was headlined by Grainne Duffy.
Muireann performed on the Late Late Show on Friday night for the first time only last month. She played When the Levee Breaks before joining host Patrick Kielty for a chat alongside actors Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott.
The star-studded show also featured actor Jamie Dornan and former Republic of Ireland defender Paul McGrath, 30 years on from his epic performance at the 1994 World Cup against Italy at Giants Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Muireann, a fifth-year student at Abbey Vocational School in Donegal Town, had brought in the new year in style, with a brilliant performance of Candyman on BBC's Jools' Annual Hootenanny.
