Donegal success at Irish Wedding Awards

There were two Donegal winners at the sixth Irish Wedding Awards, which took place at the Crowne Plaza Dublin Airport.

The Wedding Accessories Provider of the Year was awarded to Donegal’s Touch Of Venus Jewellery, while Groomswear Supplier of the Year went to Mark 2 Menswear, Carndonagh, pictured below.

In the Event Decorator of the Year, there was a highly commended mention to Grá Events Donegal in Letterkenny, and in the Outstanding Wedding Supplier of the Year, the highly commended went to Sinead Black Music from Letterkenny.

These awards aim to recognise and reward those within the wedding industry that work towards making the big day as perfect as possible, including the caterers that provide delicious reception meals, decorators that take care of the wedding venues and add the glam in the room or florists that know how to make any wedding flourish.
The black-tie ceremony which was hosted by presenter and author Andrea Hayes, where top specialists and establishments gathered to celebrate their achievements.

A spokesperson said: “It was another fantastic night as we celebrated the continued growth of the Irish wedding industry. It was the most competitive year so far for finalists and everyone who attended was among the elite of the sector, continuing to go above and beyond for their clients. We would like to congratulate all of our winners and highly commended recipients on their accomplishments”.
