The Balor Arts Centre, which consists of The Butt Drama Circle Company Ltd and Balor DCA, is set to host the first Autism's Got Talent
The Balor Arts Centre in Ballybofey is set to host the first Autism’s Got Talent competition.
This is an opportunity for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to shine in the spotlight whether it be singing, dancing, comedy, or anything that they would like to share.
The show is set to take place on March 22 at 8:00 pm in the Balor Arts Theatre.
“We the Developmental Community Arts Group (DCA) are hosting a talent show in Balor Arts Centre,” Caroline Bell, the Balor DCA Co-ordinator shared.
“This is the first time that a show like this has been hosted in the Balor - we are not too sure if it has been done anywhere in Ireland
“This is for children and young adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to showcase their talents in singing, dancing, comedy, or any talent - the singers will be accompanied by a live band.
“If anyone is still interested or knows of anyone interested, we have a few places remaining.”
The closing date for applications is Friday, February 23 and the tech rehearsal is scheduled for Sunday, March 16.
