Women’s Walking Safety Audit in Killybegs - come and have your say

Killybegs Women's Group: "We would value the opinions of young, old, special needs, visually impaired etc"

Killybegs Women's Group is hosting a Walking Safety Audit, and organisers are encouraging as many people as possible to take part.

A spokesperson took to social media to announce details, saying: "Would you like to join us for a walk around Killybegs area on Monday, February 19 where we will take note of isolated areas, areas with poor lighting (too bright/too dark), areas of vulnerability for female walkers, accessibility for wheelchairs, buggies etc?

"We would value the opinions of young, old, special needs, visually impaired etc."

The meeting point is the Traders Park, Shore Road on Monday, February 19 at 6pm.
