A heartbroken woman whose son has been missing for over three years has launched an emotional Mother’s Day appeal.

Cian Langelaan first went missing from the Falcarragh area of Donegal back in September 24, 2020, when he was last seen when a taxi driver left him off near Dunfanaghy. Today, his mother Anthea Langelaan said she dearly wants to see his “lovely smile again”.

“Mothering Sunday,” she posted. “I remember so clearly the joyous day when you were born Cian. Today is the fourth Mother’s Day without knowing where you are or even if you are alive. What heartbreak for sure. but also many, many happy memories of you growing up when you were happy and carefree. Oh that we could relive those experiences and that I could see your lovely smile again! All my love xx Mum❤️”

Cian was aged 27 years when he went missing and is described as being approximately 5’8″ with a medium build, sandy hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt and black boots.
