The Fianna Fáil Donegal Cumann will run three candidates in the Donegal Local Electoral Area in June's local elections.
Members of the Fianna Fáil Donegal Cumann met in the Mill Park Hotel on Monday night to select their candidates. The meeting was very well attended, with spirits high in anticipation for the beginning of the 2024 Local and European Election campaigns, where Niall Blaney is part of the ticket.
Locally, the three candidates selected to contest the election under the Fianna Fáil banner were Councillor Micheál Naughton, who will contest his third local election in the Donegal LEA. He will be joined by Kilcar native Martin Hegarty and Claudia Kennedy from Ballyshannon.
