Donegal carers are set to feature in a new TG4 series, Cúramóirí.
It's hoped that Cúramóirí will showcase the challenges faced by carers and those in their care all around Ireland, and also the resilience, bravery and love which blossoms in these relationships.
Viewers will get a glimpse into the valuable services offered by Ionad Lae in Gaoth Dobhair in episode two of the new series.
Ionad Lae is open to provide companionship, food and engaging activities to the elderly in order to ensure that no individual feels isolated or disconnected from their community.
The centre is under the guidance of Eileen Uí Churraín and her dedicated team, and together they are committed to helping individuals recognise their worth, feel connected to their community and never feel alone.
Donegal carers will also feature in the third episode of the series, when viewers will see the community come together to raise funds for Oisín (8) who needs 24-hour care.
The series starts on Tuesday April 2 at 7.30pm on TG4.
