Scoil Eoin Pól has received confirmation that their school will receive an additional needs classroom
The classroom will commence in September 2024 and will be suitable for pupils with Autism and additional needs
“I am pleased to learn that Scoil Eoin Pól Loch an Iúir has been given the go-ahead for the opening of a special classroom for pupils with additional needs attending their school,” Joe McHugh TD (FG) said.
“This is very welcome news for the children who will benefit, for their families and the school community.
“I wish to acknowledge the SENO (Special Educational Needs Organiser) and Mandy McGarvey, NCSE, for working with the team at Scoil Eoin Pól in ensuring they secured this important facility at the school.
“I wish to commend the dedication and commitment to this project at Scoil Eoin Pól by Principal Mairead Nic Suibhne, her school team and the Board of Management, for their support in ensuring this application was successful.
“Comhghairdeas agus ádh mór le Mairead agus foireann uilig na scoile amach anseo.”
