A grey jeep was stolen from outside a business premises at Bonagee, Letterkenny.
The Toyota Rav 4 Jeep had a partial registration ‘08 DL 11’. The theft occurred at approximately 10:50pm on Sunday, April 28.
The following morning, the owner of the premises realised that the jeep had been moved from where it had originally been parked and then noticed that the passenger window had been smashed. Based on the CCTV footage the owner could tell that it was stolen from the yard at around 10:50pm and returned at 11:20pm.
“If anybody travelled in the area of Bonagee on Sunday night with a dash cam between 10.30pm and 11.30pm we ask them to make the footage available to gardaí,” Sergeant Eunan Walsh said. If anybody observed the jeep in question out on the roads or if they have any relevant information we ask them to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100.”
