Letterkenny Motocross track applies for retention permission
Retention permission is being sought for a motorcycle track in Letterkenny.
The application was submitted to Donegal County Council by Sylvia Lockhart on behalf of the Errigal Motorcycle Club Ltd on April 19.
The development at Ballyraine, Letterkenny consists of a motorcycle race track with observation office / container. The installation of speakers is included in the planning application, as are all associated site development works.
A Noise Test Report submitted as part of the application showed the level to be compliant.
Donegal County Council has written to the applicant requesting copies of any reports relating to nature conservation.
Submissions can be made until May 23, with a decision due by June 13.
