The fundraiser held in memory of Richard Finney, a Letterkenny business-man who died last year, has raised £1170 for Pieta House.

The fundraiser is supported by Instagram Influencer Karen Parkinson, sister of Richard Finney, the Letterkenny coffee legend. Richard Finney operated The Counter Deli and New Kid Coffee, Donegal’s first specialty coffee roastery.

Pieta House provides vital services to those affected by self-harm and to families mourning those bereaved by suicide. To raise funds the County Fermanagh-born sisters and owners of Prize-Getaways Ltd decided to do something as part of their corporate social responsibility.

The competition to win a two-night stay for up to eight people in a luxury Donegal property was a tremendous success for Pieta House and raised a total of £1170.

“As we have strong Donegal links with many of the prizes featuring stays in luxury Donegal properties, we wanted to do something for charity and Pieta House is very deserving,”  Prize-getaways.com Director Pauline Huth said. “We are really pleased to be able to do this for them and a special thanks to all who bought tickets”.
