Posters defaced on the N15, Donegal Town

Election posters have been defaced in the Donegal Town area.

The vandalism took place in recent days on posters from a range of candidates across the political parties. 

Candidates in both upcoming elections have been targeted. 

It is not yet clear who is responsible, nor what is the motivation behind the vandalism. However, all posters are defaced in a similar manner - with a black T painted onto the candidates’ faces.

The same pattern has been used on defaced posters in Sligo.
