Gardaí are investigating reports of two recent incidents at the same derelict business premises in Raphoe.
The first vandalism is believed to have occurred between Midnight on Friday, May 24 and 2pm on Friday, May 31. Entry was gained to the building through a side wooden door. Grafitti was sprayed on the walls inside and some fire extinguishers were set off.
The second incident occurred at the same licensed premises on Saturday, June 1 between 9am and 8:40pm. The building was entered again and the inside was ransacked. Nothing is believed to have been stolen from the building during these incidents.
“We appeal to anybody who may have observed suspicious activity in that area between the above dates & times to make contact with Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100,” Garda Niall Maguire said.
