Local Elections: Donegal LEA Count Four sees Patrick Brogan eliminated

The fourth count results have seen Aontu's Patrick Brogan eliminated

The fourth count in the Donegal LEA has seen Aontu's Patrick Brogan eliminated.

With no-one yet reaching the quota of 1,985, Mr Brogan's votes will be distributed.

Cllr Micheál Naughton (FF) made good gains in the fourth count, and remains the frontrunner on 1,921 votes.  

Cllr Noel Jordan (SF) remains in second place with his vote increased to 1601. His party colleague Michael McMahon remains in third on 1,563.

Still in fourth is Jimmy Brogan (Ind) 1,404; followed by Pauric Kennedy (Ind) on 1,353. 

Hot on his heels is Fine Gael's Barry Sweeny on 1,342. He moves ahead of his party colleague Manus Boyle who sits on 1,294.

Cllr Niamh Kennedy gained 20 votes in the fourth count and is on 1,197.

Martin Hegarty (FF) has increased to 809; Diarmaid Doherty (Ind), is up to 552; and Linda Boyle (SF) gained three votes, going into the fifth count on 497.
