The RNLI, the Alzheimer's Society of Ireland and Liquid Therapy all received donations from the €30k raised while Tir Chonaill AC and other local organisations also received donations

Spectacular €30,000 raised for charity at 2024 Bundoran Run

Three local charities received welcome cheques at a presentation event held last week by the organisers of the 2024 Bundoran Run which took place in the seaside town on March 2.

This year’s Bundoran Run, despite challenging weather conditions at times, attracted a huge entry from across the country with 2,500 participating.

The run is located against the backdrop of some of the most spectacular scenery in the country, a stunning coastal route which takes in the Wild Atlantic Way from Bundoran to the Leitrim coastline before finishing via the breathtaking Roguey Walk at Bundoran’s main beach.

€30,000 was raised by the run with the RNLI, The Alzheimer's Society of Ireland and Liquid Therapy all receiving donations while Tir Chonaill AC and other local organisations also received donations.

The cheques to the charity groups were presented by the run committee last Friday night.

The organisers were thanked for the presentations to the three charities which were described as very important to ensuring the services they provide continue.
