Sliabh Liag:
The Sliabh Liag cliffs are situated on the southwest coast of Donegal and can be reached by traveling on a narrow road up from Teelin. Sliabh Liag is known as the highest accessible sea cliff in Europe, elevated 601 meters or 1,972 feet above sea level, the landform is almost three times the height of the Cliffs of Moher.
Situated on the Wild Atlantic Way, Sliabh League Cliffs are a Signature Discovery Point which means it is considered especially unique and shapes the image of Ireland’s west coast. Sliabh Liag offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, Donegal Bay and the Sligo Mountains. It is recommended to go to Bunglass Point, which is located next to the upper car park to soak in the views.
