Buncrana Community First Responders with members of Owen Doherty's family and participants from the tractor run at the Laurentic bar at Linsfort
The Buncrana Community First Responder Group have said they are “blown away” by a donation of €10,000.
The Laurentic bar at Linsfort hosted the Owen Doherty Toner 20th anniversary memorial tractor run in aid of local charities last month, with proceeds going to Buncrana Community First Responders and Icare. The wonderful family day out included music and entertainment in the evening, as well as a raffle and food.
“We were beyond blown away by the huge donation we received from the Doherty Toner family after their recent tractor run in memory of their late son, brother and uncle Owen Doherty on his 20th anniversary away from home,” the Buncrana Community First Responder Group posted.
“The tractor run was a huge success and we were very kindly donated €10,000. Simply amazing. Thank you so much to everyone involved in organising. It was a great day and your kindness will help so many people.”
