A woman in her 70s and a man in his 40s were hospitalised following a road traffic collision near Donegal Town.
The incident occurred on the N15 between Barnesmore and Donegal Town, in the vicinity of the Leghowney turn off, at around 6.10pm.
A garda spokesperson confirmed: "Emergency services attended the scene of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the N15 in Donegal Town on Thursday, July 11.
"A man (40s) and woman (70s) were taken to Letterkenny University Hospital to be treated for what are believed to be non life-threatening injuries.
"Investigations are ongoing."
