Donegal school plans football pitch upgrade with running track and disability swing

A Donegal primary school is seeking planning permission to redevelop their football pitch.

A planning application has been submitted to Donegal County Council by Scoil Chróine National School in Dungloe for the redevelopment of the existing grass pitch, including the addition of a three-metre running track around the perimeter.

If granted, the development will also include the erection of 10 metre high ball stops and the installation of a wheelchair ability swing, as well as all associated site works.

A decision on the application - which was submitted on July 16, 2024 - is due on September 8, 2024.
