An Taoiseach Simon Harris and Senator Nikki Bradley made a visit to the No Barriers Foundation in Letterkenny on Friday.

No Barriers Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that improves the physical and mental health of those with physical and intellectual disabilities in the north-west.

An Taoiseach was in Donegal at the MacGill Summer School in Glenties and Nikki Bradley is charity ambassador for the No Barriers Foundation.

"We were honored to host An Taoiseach Simon Harris and Senator Nikki Bradley at No Barriers,"  Johnny Loughrey, CEO, No Barriers Foundation, posted. "Their visit reinforces the importance of our mission, and we are deeply thankful for their recognition and support of our vision for an inclusive future. Together, we are breaking down barriers and making a difference."

They offer one-to-one and group rehabilitation support for people after stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease and other functional neurological disorders. No Barriers Foundation is a fully inclusive health facility in the Mountain Top in Letterkenny.

The facility is home to a rehabilitation gym with specialised equipment and highly skilled staff and also No Barriers Fitness, a community gym which is open to members of the public and features top class equipment and a skilled team. Profits from the gym go towards the cost of rehabilitation for individuals.
