TikTok star Eric Roberts has teased future opportunities as he landed a huge new role on Ireland AM.
The TikToker is currently working on the show as Deric Hartigan’s temporary replacement, as roving weatherman Deric Hartigan has taken on a new role on the Virgin Media station’s Six O’Clock Show.
Roberts’ screen career has gone from strength to strength after he quit his job as a special needs assistant last year to pursue a full-time career in the media. The TikTok influencer now boasts over 650,000 followers on the popular social media app.
The Glen native said he is really looking forward to his chance on Ireland AM.
Speaking to Goos.ie, Eric said he was “excited for the challenge this week and enjoying working with the Ireland AM team", adding that he hopes that he "can make Deric proud this week and next week".
“I’m only covering for these two weeks but I’m excited about more opportunities with Ireland AM in the future.”
The Donegal star is also preparing to head to the Olympics with TikTok, where he will be reportedly spending time with many of the Irish track and field talents.
