Man arrested with court appearance due following Letterkenny burglary

Gardaí issued appeals about two recent burglaries in Letterkenny Town - one at Castle Street and one in Market Square - a man has since been arrested in connection with one of the incidents and the other incident is still being investigated

Man arrested with court appearance due following Letterkenny burglary

A man has been arrested in connection with burglaries in Letterkenny.

Gardaí issued appeals in relation to two recent burglaries in Letterkenny Town last week - one at Castle Street and one in Market Square.  

A man has since been arrested and questioned about these incidents,  he was charged to appear in court in connection with one of the incidents and further investigation is ongoing in relation to the other.

The burglary took place in Market Square, on Monday, July 22 at around 3:35pm. The other incident at Castle Street occurred in a week-long span between Thursday, July 18 and the following Wednesday, July 24.
