With Rossnowlagh being such a popular destination for beach holidays or day trips to the seaside, there must be countless photos sitting in drawers or photo albums.
A community group which is currently working on dune conservation at Rossnowlagh would love to see these photos, and is appealing to people to share their snaps.
A spokesperson for Friends of Rossnowlagh said: “We’re looking for your old Rossnowlagh photographs of the sand dunes, especially ones that show the historic pill boxes that used to sit on top of them.
“Over the years, the dunes have eroded a lot, and those pill boxes are now much further inland.
“These photos are more than just memories - they can help us show the impact of erosion and raise awareness about what’s happening to our beautiful coastline.
“If you have any old photos, whether they’re family snapshots, scenic shots, or pictures from past visits, we’d love it if you could share them with us.
“Your contributions will help with our ongoing efforts to preserve the dunes.”
Anyone with photos is asked to post them on the Friends of Rossnowlagh Facebook page, or they can be emailed to friendsofrossnowlagh@gmail.com
“Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated as we work to protect Rossnowlagh’s natural beauty for future generations,” continued the spokesperson. “Thanks so much.”
