Niamh Shevlin will be on stage fourth on Tuesday night
Donegal Rose Niamh Shevlin from Glenswilly will take to the stage on Tuesday night at the 2024 Rose of Tralee International Festival.
Niamh won the Donegal Rose selection, in association with R McCullagh Jewellers, at the Central Hotel, Donegal Town, to confirm her participation.
She is fourth up on Tuesday night, with live television coverage on RTE One and RTÉ Player from 8pm on Monday and Tuesday, as Kathryn Thomas and Daithi Ó Se will return to co-host the annual competition.
The daughter of Mick and Geralyn from Bomany, Niamh is an accomplished Irish dancer alongside her twin Gavin and has previously taken part in Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance.
The Rose of Tralee International Festival is one of Ireland’s largest and longest-running festivals. It features the selection of the Rose of Tralee, an international event that involves young women of Irish descent from Ireland and around the world.
Donegal Town native, Colton Friel, who works at Herron Auto and enjoys playing rugby, will be Niamh’s escort.
