Local businesses have been asked to submit a candidate for the Harvest Fair Queen competition.
And the Harvest Fair committee is seeking volunteers to fill places where a business is unable to find a suitable/available candidate
A spokesperson for the Harvest Fair committee said: “The winner will receive a cash prize plus a hamper containing vouchers and gifts. They will also receive the winning tiara and flowers.
“All girls receive a goodie bag containing skincare, haircare, and makeup products, a small bottle of Prosecco, a candle, etc.”
On September 8, the Queen candidates will be taken on a bus tour which should be a fun outing.

-Must be available on Sunday September 8 for the tour, Saturday, September 14 for the Queen Dance and Sunday, September 15 for the Float Parade
