Killybegs Coast Guard have expressed their pride in member Amay Conneely, who represented the Irish Coast Guard over the weekend.

Amay was present at the Women in SAR 2024 training course in Finland and congratulations were passed on from the Killybegs Coast Guard.

“The team here are extremely proud of our very own team member Amay Conneely,” they posted. “The training included class-room discussions and practical exercises conducted on the FLBI’s training vessel. Training also included several aspects of leadership on SAR vessels, including communication, mission handling, and different tools and procedures to assist in leading the unit. Well done Amay.”
