A special mass will be held for missing kayaker Paul Buchanan this morning.
Fr Michael Carney will say mass at St Mary’s Church in Ramelton at 10am to pray that Mr Buchanan will be found.
Mr Buchanan, who operates an accounting practice in Letterkenny, has been missing since Thursday evening when a massive sea search began off the west Donegal coast.
On Friday evening, a kayak was found around 5km north of Tory island.
Mr Buchanan had set off after 5pm on Thursday from Magheragallon pier, but failed to return.
Aged in his 50s, Mr Buchanan was spotted a couple of hours later between the coast and Inis Meain island but the alarm was raised at around midnight.
