Mabel Cassidy, Bruckless

The death has occurred peacefully at Donegal Community Hospital of Mabel Cassidy, Tullintain, Bruckless. 

Predeceased by her husband Andrew and brother Freddie; much loved mother of Drew (Evelyn), Robert (Julie), Stuart (Olga), David (Ethna), Eleanor (Hugh), Georgina (Thomas) and Walter (Emma). Sadly missed by her sisters Betty and Gina, grandchildren Morgan, Laura, Grace, Andrew, James, Matthew, Gary, Luke, Darren, Alfie and Ollie, great-grandchildren Tommy and Ethan, relatives and friends.

Her remains are reposing at her son Stuart's home, Tullintain (F94 D1H5) on Thursday from 3pm to 9pm and on Friday from 12pm to 9pm. House private on the morning of the funeral please.

Removal on Saturday at 12.30pm to Dunkineely Methodist Church for funeral service at 1pm with burial afterwards in Killaghtee cemetery.

Teresa Marie O'Rourke, Carrigart

The death has taken place of Teresa Marie O’Rourke, suddenly, in Brighton, England.

Precious daughter of Brigid and Vincent, Dunmore, Carrigart, beloved partner to Chris. Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by her partner, Chris, her mum and dad, Brigid and Vincent, by her aunts, uncles and cousins in the McGettigan family circle, the O’Rourke family circle and the Johnston family circle and by her very many friends in Ireland and England. Predeceased by her loving brother Vincent John.

Her remains are reposing at her parents house in Dunmore, Carrigart from 11am to 9pm on Thursday and Friday.

Funeral Mass in St John the Baptist Church, Carrigart on Saturday at 11am followed by internment in the adjoining graveyard.

Joan Considine, Dublin and Malin Head

The death has taken place unexpectedly in St Vincent's Hospital  surrounded by her loving family, of Joan Considine, née McGinty, Dublin and Malin Head.

Predeceased by her husband Con, parents Joseph and Jane and brother Raymond. Joan will be deeply missed by her loving daughter Rachel, her cherished granddaughter Ella, sisters Margaret (Refoy), Carmel (Newton), Anne (Druhan), brothers John, Michael (Ted), brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends.

House private.

Removal on Saturday morning to the Church of St Thérèse, Mount Merrion, County Dublin arriving at 9.50am for a 10am funeral Mass followed by burial in Mount Venus Cemetery.

Nellie Mc Elhinney, Falcarragh

The peaceful death has taken place in the Lakehouse Nursing Home, Portnablagh surrounded by her loving family of Nellie Mc Elhinney, Church Road, Falcarragh F92 X2H9.

Predeceased by her husband Stephen, survived by her sons Martin, John and Stephen, daughters in law Bridin, Josette and Jackie, grandchildren Helena, Cathy, Declan, Kim, Kristie and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a circle of family and friends.

Reposal of her remains continues at her late residence at Church Road, Falcarragh on Thursday from 11am till Rosary at 9pm. House private on the morning of the Funeral.

Mary Mansfield, Dublin and Falcarragh

The death has taken place peacefully in the Hermitage Clinic of Mary Mansfield, née Doogan, Palmerstown, Dublin and Ballyness, Falcarragh.

Beloved wife of the late Bernard (Ben) and dear mother of Michael, Marie, Eilish, Áine and Ben Junior. Devoted grandmother to Conor (Lindsey), Keane (Elizabeth), Gavin, Darcy, Eoin, Neil, Harry, Zach, Emily, Mariamna and Killian. Great-grandmother to Cecily and Amelia. Predeceased by her siblings Annie, Una, Joe and Manus. Mary will be sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, daughter-in-law Corla, sons-in-law Shane, Eugene and Robert, brothers Séamus and Neil, sister and best friend Sheila, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and wonderful neighbours.

Her remains are reposing at her home on Thursday from 3pm to 8pm. House private outside these hours please.

Removal on Friday morning to St Philomena’s Church, Palmerstown arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.30am, followed by burial in Palmerstown Cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Stewarts Care, Palmerstown.

John Mc Geary, Armagh, Cavan,Monaghan and Donegal

The death has taken place peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, John (Big Jonny) Mc Geary, Collegelands, Co Armagh and formerly of Cavan,Monaghan and Donegal.

Beloved husband of Mary, father to John, Siobhan, Kevin, Macarten, Nuala and Sara, brother to Patsy (Dundalk), Mary Rooney (Coventry), Leo and Briege Mc Quaid (Dungannon) and the late Tommy and Kathleen Morrison.

Reposal of John's remains continues at his late home on Thursday from 2pm until 9pm.

Removal on Friday at 10.15am to St Peters Church, Collegelands for 11.00am requiem Mass, burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Marie Curie c/o donation box at home.

Daniel Mackay, Letterkenny

The death has occurred in the Beaumont Hospital, Dublin, of Daniel Mackay, Loughnagin, Letterkenny, F92 WFC3, and formerly Australia.

Devoted husband of Ann-Marie Boyle Mackay, loving father to Otis and Sadhbh, sadly missed by his family and friends in Australia and Ireland.

His remains are reposing at the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny, F92 XE35 on Thursday from 4 pm to 6 pm where you are also invited to attend a celebration of Daniel’s life which can be viewed on the link https://shorturl.at/40Uca followed by private cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Family time at all other times please.

The death has occured, of Gabriel Mc Carron, 42 Dromore Park, Crossroads, Killygordon, F93 CD96, and formerly Kinawley, County Fermanagh.

Predeceased by his brother Gerard and sister Anne. Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his father Bernard, mother Mary Ellen, wife Jacinta, sons Kyle and Ben, daughter Lucia, brothers, Jude, and Aidan, sister Nuala, mother-in-law Vera, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Susan Whoriskey, Gortahork

The peaceful death has occurred in Letterkenny University Hospital of Susan Whoriskey, Baltoney, Gortahork F92 AX80 surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her daughter Maryann, her parents Grace and Dominic, her brothers Hudie, Dónal and Paddy. Survived by her husband Neilly, daughter Kathleen and husband Seamus, sons Dominic and his wife Sharon, Donald and his wife Portia and Micheal and his partner Anne, her son-in-law Stephen, grandchildren David, Matthew, Adam, Stephaine and Niamh, brothers Dominic and Joe, in-laws, nieces, nephew and a wide circle of family and friends.

House private on the morning of the funeral.

Barry Breslin, Kilcar 

The tragic death has occurred of Barry Breslin following an accident in Perth, Australia.

Beloved father to his son Tommy. Sadly missed by his loving fiancée, Melissa, his parents Mary and Seamus, his brothers Owen (Beth and Hazel) and Shane (Gerard).

House private until further notice. Funeral arrangements not yet announced.
