Gardai at Letterkenny Garda Station are investigating
A resident of a house in Letterkenny was terrified to find that an intruder had been in their home while they were upstairs,
The terrifying incident occurred in the area of Glendale Drive, Glencar, Letterkenny on Tuesday, October 15 between approximately 7.45pm and 8pm.
A resident of a house in that area was upstairs when they heard someone in the downstairs kitchen rummaging around.
They went downstairs to discover that the intruder had left and the back door was wide open. Nothing was stolen from the house.

A Garda spokesperson confirmed that Gardai are investigating the burglary and said: “If anybody observed any suspicious activity or people on foot in that area during that short time frame or if they can assist with relevant information, we ask them to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100.”
