The road is closed with local diversions in place
A woman in her 70s has been seriously injured after being involved in a collision with a car in Bruckless.
The incident occurred at around 6.10pm on Saturday. Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene and the woman was taken to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The road is closed with local diversions in place. A stop-go traffic system is in place on the N56 in the village and road users are advised to take an alternative route. Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
