A Donegal Junior League football club is planning to add a community centre to its ground.

Drumoghill FC has lodged a planning permission application to Donegal County Council for the planned works at The Moss.

The club has sough permission for the construction of a community centre that will consist of dressing rooms, a storage area, a gym and a function room.

The application provides for all ancillary works with connection to a proposed treatment plant and percolation area.

Designs of the proposed building submitted to the local authority alongside the planning application show it billed ‘Drumoghill Centre’.

The club, located along the main Letterkenny-Lifford road, has recently added a second pitch while a stand, named the Seamus Neely Stand, was previously constructed.
