The Dunfanaghy Health Centre will be fully connected to broadband services in the coming week, thus facilitating an opening next month.
This splicing of the fibre optic cables to the centre will be completed by early next week and this will provide the connectivity necessary for the installation and commissioning of the necessary IT equipment to allow the health centre to open by mid-December, before the Christmas break.
Pat the Cope Gallagher - a candidate in the forthcoming General Election - has received confirmation that the project is now nearing completion.

“It will be a welcome addition to the facilities available for the immediate area and will greatly improve health access for all,” Gallagher said. He also acknowledged the dedication and hard work of local Councillor Michael Mc Clafferty in progressing this project in the past number of years.
“The much-needed health facility for the Dunfanaghy area will be open for the community to reap the benefits from in the coming weeks,” Gallagher added.
