Live Updates: Storm Bert has made it's presence felt across Donegal

Donegal certainly felt the presence of Storm Bert overnight, with much of the county affected by snow. Barnesmore Gap marked a definite change in conditions. While the Gap itself was impassable at times overnight due to heavy snow, anywhere further south was more impacted with the effects of torrential rain.

11.25am: We have received reports of very slippery conditions at Meenaroy due to snowfall, with some vehicles unable to make the ascent. The advice is to avoid Meenaroy for now.

11am: Flooding reported in Creevy

11am: Flooding reported in the Rossnowlagh area

10.30am: Significant accumulations of snow in Mountaintop, Letterkenny

10am: Barnesmore Gap hit by heavy snowfall, leading to treacherous driving conditions. Much of the snow is cleared but motorists are reporting slippery conditions

9.30am: Reports of flooding at the Mall corner in Ballyshannon

OVERNIGHT: Severe flooding in Bridge Street, Killybegs has been devestating for homeowners and businesses, with those affected including Deputy Thomas Pringle, the community charity shop, Eileen's Unisex Hair Salon, and a number of private home. Read the full story here
