Barbershop Quartet, Ceoltóirí Canóla, announce details of first-ever concert

The quartet have been singing together as part of Danu Young Women's Choir since late 2022

The Barbershop Quartet, Ceoltóirí Canóla, who are all members of Danu YWC, are holding their first concert on December 18 in Conwal Church in Letterkenny.

The quartet members are Alice O'Connor, Katie Coyle (both from Loreto Milford), Sadbh Breathnach and Síne Ó hAodha (Coláiste Áiligh).

They have been singing together as part of Danu Young Women's Choir since late 2022 but came together as a Barbershop Quartet late last year, just three weeks before their very first Barbershop Singing Competition (IABS 2023) - where they took home the first prize in the Youth Competition! Since then they have graced the stage at BHS midwinter in New York and the BABS convention in the UK.

They returned to the Irish Association of Barbershop Singers Convention this year where they yet again wowed judges and audiences alike and were crowned the National Quartet Champions - quite an achievement for four young girls from Donegal!

They are now busy preparing for their first-ever concert, An Evening with Ceoltóirí Canóla, on Wednesday, December 18, at Conwal Church in Letterkenny.

This is sure to be an evening of captivating night of Barbershop singing as this award-winning quartet take to the stage. Don't miss this memorable night of music as Ceoltóirí Canóla present an extraordinary performance featuring their Barbershop Quartet harmonies, powerful solo performances, and special guest appearances that will make this concert truly unforgettable.
