Gerard Hannaway, Buncrana
The death has taken place peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, of Gerard Hannaway, Bunrana.
Beloved son of the late Alfy, Mary and Susan, much loved brother of Sheila and Mary and the late Alfin and Sean. Beloved brother-in-law, uncle and great uncle.

Bridie Dawson, Donegal, Dublin and Wexford
The death has taken place of Bridie Dawson, née Dodd, in Donegal and formerly of Perrystown, Dublin and Cahore, Wexford.
Bri passed over to join Dermot and Rhona. She will be missed by her daughter Carol (Carbin), grandson Gav, son-in-law Chris, sisters Martha, Margaret and Kay, sisters-in-law Marie and Maura, brother-in-law Tony, nephews, nieces and friends. She will specially be missed by Brendan, who has looked after Bri since Rhona passed and her carers, particularly Caroline.
Requiem Mass on Friday in the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock arriving at 9.45am. Funeral immediately afterwards to St. Michael’s Cremation Services Chapel within Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 PW73 arriving for 11.30am Cremation Service.

Hughie McGee, Ballybofey and Fintown
The peaceful death has taken place of Hughie McGee Dreenan Ballybofey and formerly of Glenleighan Fintown.
Dearly loved and sadly missed by his beloved wife Sarah, daughters Caroline, Catriona (Eamon), Loretta, and his son Pauric. Much loved brother of Kathleen Boles (New York). Devoted grandfather to Atlanta (Leon), Tyron, Tristan, Stefan, Ultan, Saorla, Connla and Tarlach, nieces and nephews.
Hughie's remains will repose at Marley's Funeral Home Letterkenny F92 FR1X on Tuesday and Wednesday from 4pm until 8pm.
Requiem Mass on Thursday in St Colmcille's Chapel, Fintown at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.
Esther Casey, Letterkenny and Tyrone
The death has taken place suddenly at her home, of Esther Casey, née Callen, 43, Five Acres, Strabane, Tyrone, BT82 9JD and formerly of Letterkenny.
Beloved wife of the late Liam, much loved mother of Paula, Martin, John, Esther, Laura, Siobhan, Tony and Debbie, loving sister of Robert and the late James, Peggy, May and Celine.
Her remains are reposing at the family home on Tuesday from 11am to 10pm. Family time please from 10pm on Tuesday and on the morning of the funeral.
Funeral from the family home on Wednesday at 9.20am for Requiem Mass at 10am in The Church Of The Immaculate Conception, Strabane. Interment will take place afterwards in Strabane Cemetery. The Mass can be viewed via the parish webcam.
Sean Doherty, Killygordon
The death has taken place suddenly at his home, of Sean Doherty, Tieveclogher, Killygordon.
Loving brother of Andy (Bridie), Hugo (Kathleen), Josephine (John Pat) and the late Anna (late Tony Kennedy), cherished son of the late Sarah Jane and Andy.
His remains are reposing at the home of his sister and brother-in-law, Josephine and John Pat Harvey, Tieveclogher, Killygordon, F93 K6W4.
Funeral from there on Wednesday at 10.20am for Requiem Mass at 11am in St Mary’s Church, Sessiaghoneill. Interment will take place afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard. The Mass can be viewed via the parish webcam.
Paddy Harron, Castlefin
The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Paddy Harron, Tawnacrum, Castlefin, F93 R3W9.
Beloved husband of Nancy and much loved brother of Dinny, Andy and the late Hugh. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
His remains reposing at his late residence. The house is private to family and close friends, at the request of the deceased.
Funeral leaving from there on Wednesday at 11.30am for Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Castlefin at 12 noon. Interment will take place afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard. The Requiem Mass will be streamed live via the Parish Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/urneycastlefinnparish
Sr Stella Herlihy, Donegal Town and Cork
The death has occurred peacefully in Sligo University Hospital, of Sr Stella Herlihy, Kinsale, County Cork, and late of Convent of Mercy Donegal Town and Ballyshannon.
Sadly missed by the Sisters of Mercy, Donegal Town and Ballyshannon and the wider Mercy Community of the Northern Province and by her brother-in-law Denis (Phil) in Manchester, her sister-in-law Claire (Donal), her nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and great-grand nieces and nephews.
Sr Stella’s remains will be reposing at St Catherine’s Mercy, Convent, Ballyshannon on Tuesday from 2pm until 6pm with removal to St Patrick’s Church, Donegal Town on Tuesday evening for 7pm to repose overnight.
Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am in St Patrick’s Church, Donegal Town with burial immediately afterwards in Clar Cemetery.
Hugh Canning, Greencastle
The peaceful death has taken place at The Donegal Hospice of Hugh Canning, Carrowhugh, Greencastle F93 T6KO.
Predeceased by his Brother Laurence and Paddy, deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sister-in-law, nieces and ephew, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.
Funeral from his home on Tuesday morning at 10.30am for 11am Mass in St Mary's Church, Ballybrack followed by interment in Ballybrack Graveyard.

Charlie Coll, Inishboffin and Gortahork
The peaceful death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Charlie Coll Baltoney, Gortahork F92 A9C7 and Formerly of Inishboffin.
Predeceased by his mother Áine, he is survived by his wife Bridin, sons Paul N(icola), Daniel, Ciaran (Amanda), daughters Eibhlin (John) and Áine, grandchildren Kayla, Krysta, Cayden, Daniel, Cillian, Kiana and Ashton, father Dan, brothers Harry (Marie) and Owenie (Marion), sisters Mary Ellen (Henry) and Nancy (Sandy), uncle Pat and aunt Maggie, in-laws, nieces, nephews and a circle of family and friends.

Ronald F Gammell, Wicklow and Burtonport
The death has occurred of Ronald F Gammell, Greystones, Wicklow and Burtonport. He passed away peacefully on November 21 at the Blackrock Hospital.
Devoted, loving husband and best friend of Rosemary, exceptional father to Colin, Geoff, Lorna and Darragh adored grandfather to Georgia, Josh, Karla, Kieran, Ben and Pippa. Sadly missed by his sisters Vera and Claire, daughters-in-law Eleanor and Wendy and Lorna’s partner Paul, his devoted dog Cooper, extended family and friends. Ronald is predeceased by his parents Frances and Henry and his brothers Tony, Jimmy and Vincent.
Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 2pm in the Holy Rosary Church, Greystones after which Ronald will be laid to rest in Kilquade New Cemetery.
