Kim McMenamin
Kim McMenamin, who hails from Buncrana, is contesting the general election as an independent candidate under The Irish People, a new political party.
An acupuncturist, he also ran in the June 2024 election in the Buncrana electoral area, securing almost 800 votes.
The Irish People Party's core principles include supporting family values, advocating for free speech, prioritising housing for Irish citizens, endorsing sensible immigration policies, maintaining neutrality in international conflicts, ensuring education is free from indoctrination, and supporting rural and farming communities.
The group says it believes in maintaining high ethical standards and transparency in all political endeavours.
