Count is continuing in the Clayton Hotel, Sligo
With no candidate reaching the quota in Sligo Leitrim / South Donegal General Election count, Irish Freedom Party candidate Michael Kelly has been eliminated and his 810 votes are being distributed.

Returning Officer Paraic O'Grady announced the results of Count 3 at around 10.40am. Frank Feighan picked up 86 transferred votes, bringing him up to 9,090. Martin Kenny is in second spot on 7,839, having picked up 45 transfers.
The standings remains the same as following Count 2, with the current positions as follows, (transfers received from Green Party Bláithín Gallagher's elimination are in brackets):
