Newstalk's Kieran Cuddihy and Andrea Gilligan, either side of David Wilson, Guinness Adjudicator
Andrea Gilligan today set a Guinness World Record, whilst hosting Newstalk's Lunchtime Live.
Andrea, a native of Ballyshannon, and her colleague Kieran Cuddihy set the record for the fastest time to dress a person as a Christmas tree, with Andrea doing the decorating and Kieran being the tree.
David Wilson, Guinness Adjudicator, was in studio and confirmed that Andrea and Kieran's one minute and nine seconds was enough for the new record.
It was all in the festive spirit of course, with their target for Christmas tree dressing record being the previous record of one minute and 30 seconds.
"I can now confirm all guidelines were followed," David said. "Congratulations a Guinness World Record holder - you are officially amazing."
Andrea joked: "I'm buzzing. I've been practising. We are now in a book with some great record holders. I'd like to retain this title!"
