The Grinch with Garda Gráinne Doherty in Letterkenny
An Garda Siochana in Donegal have warned the Grinch about his conduct in the lead-up to Christmas.
Garda Gráinne Doherty spotted the Grinch, who was misbehaving, in Letterkenny and had a word.
"Garda Doherty was out on the beat today and she was enjoying her walk around Letterkenny town surrounded by Christmas music and happy shoppers until she came across this grumpy green furry chap who was running around causing havoc at Letterkenny Shopping Centre," an official Garda statement said.

"Trying to steal Christmas? Not on our watch! This mischievous grinch got a stern warning to behave himself and 'It came without ribbons, it came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags.' Happy Grinchmas!"
