Lochlainn Harte is a podcast producer and editor based in Letterkenny.

Lochlainn Harte, the driving force behind the acclaimed podcast Corny: The Last Irishman in the NFL, is celebrating a major victory at the Irish Pod Awards.

His captivating four-part series about Neil O'Donoghue, the last Irishman to play in the NFL for almost 40 years, scored an impressive array of awards - Gold: Best Sports Podcast; Silver: Best Limited Run Series; Bronze: Best Documentary and Best Editor: Lochlainn Harte.

Corny: The Last Irishman in the NFL tells the incredible story of Neil O'Donoghue, a Dublin native who rose to the top of American football in the 1970s and 80s as a placekicker.

"This is incredible! I'm so honoured and genuinely shocked," Lochlainn said. "This podcast was a real labour of love, and it means the world to me that people have connected with Neil's story."

Lochlainn is a podcast producer and editor based in Letterkenny. He has worked on successful Irish podcasts, including Inside the Crime, As I Remember It: Bertie Ahern and the Good Friday Agreement, and Let Me Explain. Corny: The Last Irishman in the NFL" is his first independent production.
