The incident occurred at Station Road Park, home of Kildrum Tigers FC
Four youths are being sought by Gardai after an attempted arson at Kildrum Tigers FC in St Johnston.
Four males and one juvenile gained entry to the toilet block at the rear of the clubhouse at the Donegal League club’s Station Road Park ground on Friday, January 3.
The incident occurred at around 6pm and was captured on CCTV.
The group were in the building for around half-an-hour and an attempt was made to start a fire.
Kildrum Tigers has since passed the footage onto An Garda Siochana.
The club has expressed its anger at the cost of the clean up, saying: “Volunteers at Kildrum Tigers FC will tidy up the mess and organise to repair the damage using money earmarked for other projects.”
