Donegal's Lough Eske Castle Hotel is among the top five wedding destinations in 2025, according to a recent study.
In the last 30 days, google searches for ‘Ireland wedding’ have skyrocketed by 78% and reached over 53,000 searches.
As couples eagerly search for the perfect Irish venue to tie the knot, Diamonds Factory Ireland has analysed TikTok hashtag data to reveal the most popular wedding destinations across the country, including venue costs and capacity.
Lough Eske came fifth in the standings, with 318 TikTok hashtags, described as: “Nestled by a tranquil lake, Lough Eske Castle dates back to the 1400s and offers a magical setting for a wedding. The Castle has exclusive gardens for photos and a grand ballroom accommodating up to 300 guests making it a special location to host your wedding. A range of wedding packages are available allowing you to have your dream castle wedding in Ireland starting from €125 per person.”

Ashford Castle, Galway, came first with 1,106 TikTok hashtags, followed by Adare Manor, Limerick, second on 1,026 hashtags; Dromoland Castle, Clare was third (404) and fourth went to Castle Leslie, Monaghan, 368.
With 368 hashtags, Castle Leslie is a romantic retreat with sophisticated charm in Monaghan. The castle is renowned for its historic significance and luxurious amenities. Its unique character makes it a favourite for couples seeking an intimate and timeless wedding experience.
Couples that choose the Castle or the Castle Pavilion as the venue for their wedding, must privately hire the venue. The charge for this hire is €1,500 per day the Castle can host a civil ceremony for up to 120 guests.
Diamonds Factory Ireland compiled a unique list of wedding venues in Ireland and ranked them by the number of TikTok hashtags associated with each location.
